Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design mechanical components using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor).
Develop detailed 2D drawings with correct tolerances and GD&T.
Prepare complete Bill of Materials (BOMs) and product documentation.
Participate in and sometimes lead design reviews and cross-functional meetings.
Interface with CAE teams for simulation and testing inputs and improvements.
Work with sourcing to support global supplier selection and manufacturability analysis.
Analyse design performance, durability, and manufacturability.
Perform design calculations and assist in simulations to validate designs.
Support prototyping and validation stages; review test results and modify designs accordingly.
Ensure all designs comply with CE, ATEX, 3A, EHEDG, and FDA standards.
Integrate documentation into PDM/ERP platforms like Vault and SAP.
Support creation of multilingual technical manuals and certifications.
Assist in training and guiding junior engineers.
Review and approve their models, drawings, and documentation

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in rotating machinery or fluid dynamics preferred.
Strong CAD skills; knowledge of GD&T and DFM principles.
Familiarity with global engineering standards and regulatory documentation.
Effective team player with strong communication skills and analytical thinking.
