Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop civil engineering projects in accordance with nominated technical guideline documents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Utilize industry-standard software for civil design and drafting.
• Prepare detailed design documentation and technical reports.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise
• Need to have excellent communication skills ion English as the role requires attending project meetings understanding scope and explaining to other team members who are junior.
• Managing junior team members who work closely with you while you lead on projects.
• Managing work loads and reporting on deliverables and updating head office in Australia..

Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field, however

masters preferred.

• 6+ years of experience in civil design, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in civil design software and must be well versed with design

concepts.

• Must have used either of the following softwares extensively: Civil 3D,

MicroStation or 12D.

• Strong understanding of Australian engineering standards (preferred but not

necessary).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
