Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Software Architect / Lead to join our team This role involves leading complex software projects, designing robust architectures, and mentoring a team of developers while collaborating with cross-functional global teams The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a passion for leadership and innovation, especially in the regulated medical device domain Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of software systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, QA, regulatory, and client stakeholders Guide and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions Define and implement software design patterns, architecture standards, and development frameworks Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation, and validation processes for software in the medical device domain Evaluate and integrate modern technologies to improve software performance, security, and maintainability Manage project timelines, resources, and risks effectively Support DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated testing frameworks Contribute to the strategic direction of technology initiatives and innovation within the team Design and implement end-to-end architecture for AI/ML solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance Required Qualifications: Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in a leadership or architect role Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, C#, Python, etc) and frameworks Strong understanding of software architecture principles, system design, and integration patterns Experience in Agile methodologies and version control (eg, Git) Solid grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture Familiarity with regulatory standards in the medical device domain (eg, IEC 62304, ISO 13485) is a strong plus Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills: Experience in HealthTech or medical device software development Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and CI/CD tools Ability to manage stakeholders, present solutions, and lead technical discussions Experience in designing and deploying AI/ML models within enterprise application
