Job Description

Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Professional, Data Engineering designs, builds, and maintains complex data systems that enable data analysis and reporting. This role includes a focus on Treasury-specific data solutions, ensuring high-quality ficial data pipelines and models. You will work on scalable architecture to support treasury analytics and decision-making.

Key Accountabilities

DATA INFRASTRUCTURE: Prepare and manage data infrastructure for efficient storage and retrieval of data.
DATA PIPELINES: Develop and maintain batch and streaming pipelines to ingest and transform ficial data into information and move to data stores like data lake, data warehouse and others.
DATA MODELING: Performs complex data modeling in accordance to the datastore technology to ensure sustainable performance and accessibility.
AUTOMATED DEPLOYMENT PIPELINE: Develops automated deployment pipelines improving efficiency of code deployments with fit for purpose goverce.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Collaborate with analysts, fice teams, and platform engineers to align solutions with business needs.
DATA SYSTEMS: Reviews existing data systems and architectures to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
DATA & ANALYTICAL SOLUTIONS: Develops complex data products and solutions using advanced engineering and cloud-based technologies, ensuring they are designed and built to be scalable, sustainable and robust.
INNOVATION: Prototype new frameworks and continuously optimize existing architectures to reduce technical debt and improve performance.

Qualifications

10+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 4 years in senior roles.

Strong SQL and Python expertise for data manipulation and pipeline development.

Exposure to ficial or treasury data domain is a huge plus

Good to have but not mandatory experience with Snowflake, Airflow, Astronomer, DBT
