This role is critical in supporting a large-scale security migration project within a global retail environment. The focus is purely on application security , and not on CDN, DNS, or Edge Compute migration. You ll join a dedicated security team helping transition from Akamai to Cloudflare, contributing directly to both the migration and post-migration optimization of security rules and configurations. Project Overview Client: A global retail organization Scope: Security migration from Akamai to Cloudflare (WAAP/WAF only) Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension) Migration Completion Goal: End of June 2025 Post-Migration Activities: Tuning and refining WAAP/WAF configurations Key Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert in Akamai and Cloudflare WAF/WAAP configuration and implementation.
