Senior Data Analyst - Trivandrum

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst who can bridge data analysis with data engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building data pipelines, driving reporting excellence, and mentoring junior analysts.

Youll work closely with our product and development teams to deliver actionable insights, maintain data integrity, and optimize data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Work with available commuter and ticketing data to generate useful reports, identify patterns, and provide insights that support decision-making.
• Basic Modeling & Forecasting: Use standard statistical and analytical techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, or basic Python/R) to create simple forecasts and trend analyses to improve services.
• Insights to Actions: Share clear, practical recommendations from data that can help improve operations, customer experience, and overall efficiency.
• Collaboration: Support team members and, where required, guide junior analysts in completing tasks effectively.
• Communication: Present findings in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way for non-technical stakeholders.
• Additional Analysis: Carry out other data-related tasks as required by the organization.
  

Key Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years (non negotiable) of work experience in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in analyzing large, complex data sets and delivering insights.
• Good in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau) including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from other fields.
• Bachelors or a Masters degree related to the IT field is preferred
