Typical Business Titles:Senior Data Analyst or Senior Data Scientist or Senior Data Engineer or Senior Business AnalystDifferentiator:Apply practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experienceWork intensively with the Sales and Commercial team with general supervision from IT HeadKey Tasks:Analyze business intelligence data from different sources to inform business and product decisionsResearch operational issues and ensures application of Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analysis & Analytics applications to enhances business decision making capabilities Manage internal and external data sets and conduct respective (management) reportingTrack escalated issues arising from operations and coordinate with other stakeholders to improve operational capabilitiesAssist in implementing policies and procedures regarding collating and analyzing data, develop new data analysis processes and assess analytics on an ongoing basisAssist monitor day to day trends to identify patterns in recorded data and support developing a predictive, real-time model-based insights for decision-makingCommunicate information effectively to senior management, conveying technical information to non-technical audiences Implement best practices for BI, data warehousing, and data governance and provide inputs that affect the functional area of responsibilityProvides input to standards, policies and procedures for form, structure, and attributes of the BI tools and systems Stakeholders:May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practicesSupport and interact primarily with cross-functional colleaguesBuild relationships and understand key stakeholders interests and concernsAddress task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationshipsManagement Responsibility:Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others Mentoring or close alignment with other data enthusiasts in the business Skills:Professional skills: Consulting, Coaching, Change Management, Business Processes, Business Strategy, Market Research, Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Influencing, Feedback, Presentation & Storytelling, Facilitation, Awareness of Agile / Scrum ways of working Technical Skills:Expertise in Large Language Models Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI/Fabric Practical experience with various machine learning algorithms, including linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering techniques Proficient in data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity Proficient in Python Programming, Power BI/Fabric, Power Automate, RPA & its implementationIdentify the right modeling approach(es) for given scenario and articulate why the approach fits Assess data availability and modeling feasibility Lead the integration of large language models into AI applications Roles & Responsibilities:Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Work with various teams and contribute to significant decision-making processes via data Provide solutions to challenges that affect multiple teams Research and implement advanced AI techniques to improve system performance Assist in the development and deployment of AI solutions across different domains Lead the conversations for business requirements with the teamsQualifications:Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or related field 5+ years of experience in the Data Scientist / Data Engineer roleStrong data and business analytical skills You should have:Certifications in some of the core technologies Ability to collaborate across different teams / geographies / stakeholders / levels of seniority Customer focus with an eye on continuous improvement Energetic, enthusiastic and results-oriented personality Ability to coach other team members, you must be a team player!Strong will to overcome the complexities involved in developing and supporting data pipelines Experience in Logistic industry domain would be an added advantage Language requirements:English Fluent spoken and written (C1 level)#LIeBD
