The opportunity Senior Consultant-AMI-SaT-SaT - S&E - Corporate Strategy - Mumbai AMI The Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) Industry Market contains the following industriesAerospace and Defence, Chemicals, Infrastructure, Industrial Products, Automotive, and Transportation that includes Mobility-as-a-Service. We help our clients to address the rapidly changing needs of our business world on not only how goods and services are bought and sold, but also on how they are devised and created. Your key responsibilities Technical Excellence
Project Delivery & LeadershipDrive work streams or lead aspects of client engagements, applying structured data analysis, research, and strategic thinking to solve complex client challenges. Develop, structure, write, and present deliverables, often under tight deadlines and across global/local teams. Plan, deliver, and monitor high-quality work products. Analytical & Strategic WorkConduct market, sector, and competition analysis, including opportunity sizing and market entry strategy. Support strategy planning and business/commercial reviews. Assess business drivers and develop actionable recommendations for clients. Client EngagementInteract directly with clients, establishing yourself as a key point of contact and trusted advisor. Foster productive client relationships and collaborate in team-based environments. Present analysis and findings to client executives. Business DevelopmentContribute to proposals, pitches, and thought leadership activities. Support the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities. Team DevelopmentMentor junior team members, share knowledge, and encourage a culture of continuous learning. Participate in feedback and coaching processes.
Skills and attributes To qualify for the role you must haveQualification Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent degree is an advantage. Degrees from IITs, IIMs, FMS, XLRI, or SP Jain are preferred. Experience 3-6 years experience in top tier consulting firms (MBBs / ATK / Big 4 / Accenture) or relevant industry roles (transaction advisory, corporate finance, or strategy preferred). Experience in one or more new energy sectors, such as solar, wind, hydropower, bioenergy, geothermal, ocean energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, e-mobility, smart grids, and carbon capture. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication for effective report writing and presenting. Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams effectively. Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and, for some teams, financial modeling. Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
