Senior Consultant - Environmental & Social Due Diligence

This role involves engaging in technical and project management aspects of various projects, often situated in developing countries across different regions such as South America, Europe/Far Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. You may need to travel to these locations for short trips to conduct audits, monitoring, or training activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing the delivery of major international projects related to Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS), identification of mitigation measures, preparation of E&S management plans, and E&S monitoring services for private sector clients and international funders. - Defining appropriate corrective action plans and measures for follow-up verification. - Assisting clients in meeting international lender standards and providing advice on international best practices in Environmental and Social (E&S) performance. - Supporting the development and implementation of environmental and social management systems. - Demonstrating a deep understanding of international E&S standards including Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards, EBRD Performance Requirements, and World Bank EHS Guidelines. Staying updated with the latest developments, regulations, and standards in the ESG space. - Establishing strong working relationships and collaborating extensively with the companys international environmental and ESG due diligence teams to enhance service quality. - Working with project Associates within countries and regions of operation. - Delivering work through well-written and concise reports and presentations to clients. - Providing technical support to team members in identifying E&S risks and managing them effectively. - Creating marketing materials and proposals as needed. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Studies and Resource Management.,
