Senior Collections Agent

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Collection Agent to lead our collections process. The role involves handling overdue accounts, ensuring timely recovery of payments, maintaining positive customer relationships, and guiding junior collection agents in achieving collection targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers regarding overdue payments through calls, emails, and official notices.
• Negotiate repayment plans and settlements in a professional and ethical manner.
• Monitor and manage high-value/default accounts to ensure maximum recovery.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, commitments, and payments.
• Escalate unresolved cases to the legal/management team where necessary.
• Support, mentor, and guide junior collection agents to achieve team targets.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on collection status and outstanding dues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines during the recovery process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage timely payments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Business Administration (preferred).
• Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience in collections or recovery, preferably in finance, retail, or lending sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills (Hindi & English).
• Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and calmly.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and collection management systems.
• Target-driven, disciplined, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Skills:

• Team handling or mentoring experience.
• Knowledge of legal processes related to collections.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
