As a CloudOps Engineer at Aeris, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include: - **Cloud Infrastructure Management**: - Implementing Access Control measures like Cloud IAM, service accounts, and roles with the principle of least privilege. - Effectively managing projects, quotas, and policies for Resource Management. - Setting budget alerts, conducting cost analysis, and reporting for Cloud Costs Management. - Performing regular audits to ensure compliance and optimize performance. - **Security and Compliance**: - Implementing and monitoring a comprehensive security strategy for Security Strategy. - Overseeing Cloud Security Tools and managing the Threat Detection Dashboard for Alert and Threat Management. - Conducting threat models and risk assessments, supporting security testing, and evaluating business impacts from security threats for Risk Assessment and Security Testing. - **Cloud Operations**: - Developing and maintaining automation scripts for provisioning and managing Cloud resources. - Setting up and configuring monitoring tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting. - Responding to and resolving cloud infrastructure incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with teams for Incident Management and Troubleshooting. - Creating and maintaining documentation, providing training, and supporting team members for Documentation and Training. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of Networking Principles and Protocols, continuously update your knowledge on cloud PaaS components, deliver demonstrations for new cloud solutions, and manage integration across multiple platforms. **Qualifications Required**: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5+ years in a CloudOps role. - Proficiency in GCP/AWS/Azure services, automation tools, scripting skills, monitoring tools, and containerization technologies. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
