Senior Cloud Engineer

🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure-First, Multicloud/Hybrid) — 4+ Years

Prectech is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who thrives in Azure-first environments, but can also jump into AWS and on-prem setups when needed. If you love building secure, scalable, high-performance platforms—and automating everything—you’ll feel right at home with us.

🔹 What You’ll Do

Azure (Primary):

-Design, implement, and manage workloads: VMs/Scale Sets, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, AKS, Functions, Key Vault.

-Build IaC with Terraform/ARM/Bicep; deliver CI/CD via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

-Implement networking: VNets, Firewalls, Load Balancers, ExpressRoute/VPN, Private Link.

-Own security & compliance: Defender for Cloud, RBAC, policies/blueprints.

-Drive observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Alerts, DR & Backup.

AWS (As Needed):

-Map Azure designs to AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC).

-Build Terraform modules (optionally CloudFormation).

-Apply AWS security best practices.

On-Prem & Hybrid:

-Hybrid networking, VMware/Hyper-V, Windows/Linux servers.

-Container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), logging & monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana).

Automation & Platform Engineering:

-Script in Python/PowerShell/Bash for automation & ops workflows.

-Champion cost optimization (FinOps).

-Collaborate with dev, security, and product teams.

🔹 What We’re Looking For

-4+ years in cloud/platform engineering with strong Azure focus.

-Hands-on with Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CI/CD.

-Kubernetes (AKS) & Docker expertise (EKS a plus).

-Strong networking, monitoring, and cost optimization skills.

-Scripting: Python/PowerShell/Bash.

-Security-first mindset.

-Nice to have: AWS, VMware/Hyper-V, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, Prometheus/Grafana.

-Certifications (AZ-104/AZ-305, AWS SAA/DevOps) are a plus.
