Sr Civil Engineer

• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available
• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients
• Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders
• Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required
• Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team
• Proven expertise in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations applicable to government projects.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with government agencies and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Civil 3D, and other project management tools).
• Experience in tender preparation, contract administration, and document management.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Conducting

  site measurements

  accurately as per government project standards
• Preparing and verifying

  Bills (RA Bills, Final Bills, etc.)

  in coordination with client representatives and site teams
• Maintaining and preparing

  Measurement Books (M-Books)

  as per departmental norms for government projects
• Ensuring timely submission of all documentation related to measurement and billing for approval and payment processing

Job Requirements:

Education Qualification: B.tech / BE (Branch : Civil)

Experience: 5 - 10 years of experience as Civil Engineer

Skills required: MS Office, Good in communication, Leadership Skills

Work location: Mahabubnagar, Hyderabad, Vijayawada
