Senior Business Project Manager- SAP S/4 HANA

The Senior Business Project Manager plays a crucial role within the SAP S/4HANA implementation team, providing leadership in business process transformation activities across the Asia-Pacific region. You will lead project teams through complex implementations and serve as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include project leadership and execution, stakeholder management, resource and budget management, risk management, quality assurance, and reporting. In terms of project leadership and execution, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing project facets from initiation to closure. This involves defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives, as well as developing comprehensive project plans and communication materials. Effective stakeholder management is essential, requiring clear and timely communication of project expectations to team members and stakeholders. You will also engage with stakeholders regularly, nurture relationships with third parties/vendors, and ensure alignment with project objectives. Resource and budget management are key aspects of the role, involving the drafting of budget proposals, monitoring expenditures, and recommending changes as needed. Your focus will be on delivering projects within approved budgets while maintaining quality standards. Risk management is another critical area where you will identify and address project risks, develop contingency plans, and escalate issues as necessary. Quality assurance is paramount, ensuring project deliverables meet required standards and comply with regulations. Reporting is an integral part of the role, requiring the tracking of project milestones, delivery of progress reports, and communication of project updates through various documentation and presentations. To excel in this position, you should possess a Masters/Bachelors degree in computer science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years focused on SAP S/4HANA Implementation, is required. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, along with PMP certification, is advantageous. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams in complex organizational environments.
