Measures of Success In 3 months, you will have: A thorough understanding of the clients businesses , including their KPIs, key challenges, and unique positioning. Mastered the essential tools and processes needed for the daily operations of the account. Begun managing the day-to-day output of the team , ensuring high quality and responsiveness to all client requests. In 6 months, you will have:Thorough knowledge of the media landscape for the brands you handle. Established strong relationships with key media owners to enhance partnerships. Embedded yourself within the internal team and developed a deep understanding of the different specialist teams you work with. Built a strong, collaborative relationship with your clients , acting as the senior point of contact. Improved the quality and presentation of client reviews and planning sessions . Suggested and implemented improvements to current workflows or processes for any of your clients. In 12 months, you will have: Begun consulting with clients on their business outcomes and how EssenceMediacom can directly influence them. Driven incremental revenue and profitability for the team through fee and contract negotiations and other initiatives. Led and delivered all client responses to briefs in a strategic way. Provided timely and thorough feedback/appraisals to your direct reports. Led planning responses from insight and strategy through to execution . What Your Day Job Looks Like at EssenceMediacom Manage client requests and delegate tasks effectively to your team members. Guide your team to develop stronger strategic thinking and media planning skills. Collaborate closely with specialist teams to stay updated on their latest offerings. Work with media partners on briefs and proactive initiatives. Continuously learn about your client's category , competitive activity, and the evolving media landscape. Attend internal, client, and cross-agency meetings . Attend conferences and seminars to stay current with trends, insights, and client business categories. Practice always questioning using available insights to consider how they might affect the overall communication strategy for clients. Participate in new business pitches and provide insightful communication solutions. What You'll Bring A leadership mindset with a proactive and determined approach to creating change. Experience in digital strategy, communications planning, digital consultancy, and execution within an agency environment. Curiosity always asking meaningful questions and challenging the brief when necessary. High attention to detail to ensure the team's output is of the highest quality. Proven experience in managing people and the ability to adapt your management style. A strong team-player attitude . The ability to navigate difficult client situations and manage expectations diplomatically. An enterprising spirit to identify and drive new revenue opportunities. Minimum Qualifications 10-12 years of experience in a media agency, marketing, or brand management role. Strong understanding of Digital media , Digital Planning, and Performance marketing. Demonstrated leadership skills or potential . Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills . Strong analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative). A passion for learning and an openness to new challenges. Understanding of the programmatic landscape (trends, technologies like DMP, DSP, SSP) is preferred.
