Job Title: Senior Business Analyst / Lead Business Analyst

Location: Chennai- Hybrid

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst or Lead Business Analyst with deep expertise in Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps (ADO). The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the delivery of high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
• Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for process improvements or system enhancements.
• Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other artifacts.

2. Agile Facilitation

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams to ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Drive backlog grooming sessions and maintain a well-defined, prioritized product backlog.

3. Azure DevOps (ADO) Expertise

• Manage and configure ADO boards, sprints, and dashboards for tracking project progress.
• Use ADO to document requirements, create tasks, and manage work items effectively.
• Provide training and support to team members on leveraging ADO for Agile delivery.

4. Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a liaison between business units, development teams, and QA teams.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for business users.

5. Leadership and Mentorship

• Lead and mentor junior BAs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Define and implement best practices for business analysis in Agile environments.
• Advocate for the adoption of Agile principles and practices across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience:

  5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on Agile projects.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).

• Analytical Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to perform data analysis and interpret insights to guide decision-making.

• Soft Skills:

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonalskills and the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP).
• Experience in leading large, cross-functional Agile projects.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
