Location: Kochi - remote

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with 5+ years of experience in online search, discovery, SEO, and digital optimization. The ideal candidate can translate business goals into high-impact search strategies that improve traffic, conversions, market share, and brand authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements; translate them into prioritized backlogs, roadmaps, and measurable experiments.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
• Develop process flows, workflow diagrams, data flow charts, and SOPs.
• Support Solution Architect with feasibility analysis and provide functional/technical clarifications.
• Perform preliminary \testing, validate results with end users, and support UAT.
• Maintain documentation \and manage issues, dependencies, and risks.
• Act as a bridge between business, engineering, data science/ML, SEO, and content teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst in search, digital marketing, SEO, content optimization, or digital strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of:
• Technical SEO, content optimization, query intent, ranking relevance
• Semantic strategy, product taxonomy, metadata optimization
• Structured data, AI-driven discovery, competitive analysis
• Experience translating business objectives into actionable plans and experiments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven track record of driving measurable digital outcomes.

Nice to Have

• Background in product management, retail/e-commerce, or technology.
• Deep experience with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, log file analysis.
