As a Senior Business Analyst, Assistant Director at EY, you will play a crucial role in gathering complex requirements, designing integrated solutions, and utilizing Talent data strategically to support business objectives. Your responsibilities will include: - Requirement Gathering: Lead the gathering of complex business requirements related to Talent systems, focusing on SAP SuccessFactors and data integration. - Process Engineering/Optimization: Analyze existing Talent processes, identify areas for optimization, and recommend solutions leveraging SAP SuccessFactors and other technologies. - Data Integration: Collaborate with the data architecture team to enable the data integration strategy, ensuring efficient data exchange between systems with a focus on data quality and accuracy. - Solution Design: Work with technical teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, data mapping, security, and system functionalities. - Data Analysis: Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends and insights from Talent data, supporting data-driven decision-making. - Documentation: Create detailed requirement documents, process flows, use cases, and data mapping documents for project implementation. - Stakeholder Management: Engage with business stakeholders, executive leadership, and project teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of project objectives. - Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for data quality, testing, and validation to meet business needs and quality standards. - Change Management: Drive change management efforts to support end-users in adapting to new systems resulting from SAP SuccessFactors implementations. - Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities for process enhancement and recommend improvements to business processes and system functionalities. Skills and attributes required for success in this role include: - In-depth knowledge of Talent processes, system functionalities, data integration methodologies, and best practices. - Proficiency in data analysis tools, database query languages (e.g., SQL), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). - Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. - Excellent documentation and presentation skills for communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong project management capabilities to lead cross-functional teams effectively. - Positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving project objectives and driving positive outcomes. - Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. - Ability to collaborate virtually with global teams. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in business analysis or SAP SuccessFactors preferred. - Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst with a focus on Talent systems, SAP SuccessFactors, and data integration. - 8 to 10 years of industry experience in Talent.
