Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst

You will be working as a Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst at Wells Fargo. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading or participating in moderately complex initiatives as a technical professional - Providing expertise and unique skills to develop company objectives and standards for a specific business unit, division, or product - Reviewing and analyzing moderately complex data for large scale planning and economic research to support management decision making - Researching key forecasting projections and managing financial reporting for monthly and quarterly forecasting - Working on significant and unique issues involving data evaluation or highly complex situations - Developing strategies and recommendations for forward financial planning in support of line of business goals - Leading the implementation of moderately complex projects impacting one or more lines of business - Establishing effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standards - Collaborating with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers in finance and a given line of business to resolve issues and achieve goals - Exercising independent judgment while leveraging a solid understanding of knowledge policies, procedures, and compliance requirements within the function Qualifications required for this role: - 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education Desired qualifications: - Good understanding of accounting and preferably knowledge of US GAAP - Financial Services (brokerage in particular) Industry experience strongly preferred - Certification in SQL, SAS, Python, Power BI, Power App In this role, you are expected to be a subject matter expert on banking products, preferably the Wealth Business, with hands-on experience in leveraging AI for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. You will need to plan AI adoption, influence stakeholders, and execute to improve FP&A end user experiences. Additionally, you will be responsible for engineering LLMs to auto generate executive summaries and analysis reports, building and deploying financial models using Python, utilizing AI tools for automation, collaborating with product and finance heads, staying updated on emerging technologies in AI, and more.
