This role is not about maintaining systems — it’s about building them to handle massive, enterprise-grade scale. The engineer will work directly with the founders and founding engineer, driving technical decisions and shaping the backend architecture that underpins the entire platform.This is a high-ownership opportunity for someone who thrives in startup environments: writing scalable code, architecting solutions for speed and reliability, and turning ambitious ideas into production launches. The right candidate will be an exceptional engineer with strong Python experience, cloud expertise (AWS or GCP), and the ability to lead technical direction. Prior startup experience — especially as a founder or early team member — is strongly valued.With strong customer validation, significant funding, and world-class investors behind them, we're at an inflection point. Requirements

• Elite Graduate from Top 5 IIT School
• 5+ years hands-on backend engineering experience (Python expertise; Django a plus).
• Proven ability to build and scale infrastructure — AWS or GCP proficiency; Kubernetes/Docker familiarity
• Prior startup experience, ideally in fast-moving, high-ownership environments
• Clear evidence of end-to-end product ownership (not just ticket work)
• Entrepreneurial mindset — former founders or operators especially valued
• Thrives in high-responsibility roles: comfortable making architectural decisions and shipping quickly
• CS Degree
