Key Responsibilities. Architect, build, and optimize Django-based APIs and services. Define and enforce backend best practices, coding standards, and security protocols. Lead integrations with external financial APIs (KYC, banking, payments, etc.). Drive performance improvements in high-load environments. Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical decision-making. Must-Have Skills. 4 to 7 years of backend development experience in Python and Django/Django Rest Framework. Deep knowledge of relational databases, query optimization, and scaling. Hands-on experience with system design, caching, rate limiting, and error handling. Strong experience working in fintech and Software Development ecosystems is mandatory. Good-to-Have Skills. Familiarity with asynchronous task queues (Celery, RabbitMQ). Containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes). Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms. Education. Tech/ M. (ref:hirist.tech).
