Senior Automation Engineer

Role Overview: As an SDET at our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through various testing methodologies. You will need to have a clear understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Bug Life Cycle concepts. Your expertise in Functional and Nonfunctional Testing, as well as Python-based development, will be crucial for this role. Additionally, you will be expected to work on automation of remote data processing using modules like pexpect and parsing input files like Excel, xml, html, and csv. Key Responsibilities: - Clear understanding of SDLC, STLC, Bug Life Cycle concepts - Expertise on Functional and Nonfunctional Testing - Expertise on Python based development - Understanding of data-structures like list, dictionaries, tuples, set - Various programming techniques like list comprehension, list slicing, shallow & deep copy, eval/exec, regex & lambda, modules & packages - Automation of remote data processing using modules like pexpect or any such tool - Parsing input files like Excel, xml, html, csv etc - Hands on experience & understanding of one or more Automation Framework like Robot, GTest, pytest - Hands on experience in custom test framework development - Understanding of various test matrix and reports - Hands on experience on Test Management and Bug tracking tools like Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla, ClearQuest, Quality Centre - Working experience on Linux - Experience in Embedded Software and Firmware Testing, Cloud application, Cloud Services & APIs, Inter-cloud and could interoperability testing, Networking protocol, Devices and application / L2-L3 testing - Experience on IoT, Thread, Azure, Nest, Apple home kit etc. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in EC/CE/IT or any similar degree - Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills Role Overview: As an SDET at our company, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through various testing methodologies.
