Senior Associate, Sourcing and Procurement

Role Overview: As an experienced Sourcing and Procurement professional, you will be joining the expanding Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) team at Russell Investments in Mumbai. Your role will involve leading strategic sourcing projects, performing data analysis, and negotiating agreements across various spend categories. You will have the opportunity to develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies while contributing to the growth of the firm's operations in India. Key Responsibilities: - Support Senior Sourcing and Procurement managers in executing strategic sourcing plans for non-IT business units and services including admin-related procurement, transport, employee benefits, HR category, and maintenance contracts. - Identify sourcing opportunities to reduce costs, increase services, and manage company risk. - Conduct research and benchmarking, collaborate with different teams, and provide subject matter expertise related to specific contractual spend or assigned category spend. - Assist in the supplier selection process by preparing and running RFx. - Draft and negotiate assigned contracts under the guidance of Senior Sourcing and Procurement managers. - Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and guidelines. - Manage assigned contracts and suppliers in close partnership with stakeholders. - Drive continuous improvement in program quality, budget adherence, and successful outcomes. - Contribute to end-to-end category strategy mapping and improvement planning to exceed savings goals. - Act as a subject matter expert in relation to assigned contracts, drive process improvement, P2P process, and handle dispute resolution for suppliers under management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Information Systems (or MIS), Economics, Finance, Legal, or Supply Chain Management. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchase Manager (C.P.M.), or equivalent certification is preferred.
