Senior Associate, Solution Engineering

As a Senior Associate, Solution Engineering at Western Union in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in protecting customers by developing and implementing new software, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing software. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring software functionality is optimized and well-organized, recommending improvements to existing software programs, troubleshooting application issues in collaboration with various teams, working with a geographically distributed software development team and service providers, providing coaching to junior members, and working independently on medium to complex projects. To excel in this role, you must be a problem solver with a can-do attitude, have experience in developing and implementing web-based solutions, possess knowledge of architecture design concepts, object-oriented design, logical and physical database architectures, and operating systems. Additionally, you should be skilled in Agile and Iterative development methodologies, possess strong communication skills to interact with global partners, have experience in financial services and business practices, and be capable of capturing business reporting requirements and designing/developing reports. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of software development experience with a focus on software design and development, along with 5 years of experience in Salesforce, Service Cloud, and the force.com platform. Hands-on experience with service cloud standard features such as Chat, CTI, Entitlements, Omni Channel, Email to case, and Webforms is essential. Expertise in LWC, data modeling, design frameworks, Apex, Lightning Framework, Integrations, Triggers, SLDS, jQuery, Batch, Visual Force, and Salesforce.com platform configurations is also required. Proficiency in Agile and Iterative development methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, Version Control Systems, deployment tools, and certifications like Platform developer-2 and any Architect certification are preferred.
