As a Senior Associate, Solution Engineering at Western Union based in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing new software solutions while maintaining and enhancing existing software programs. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization and organization. - Recommending improvements to existing software programs. - Troubleshooting application issues and coordinating issue resolution with various teams. - Working with a geographically distributed software development team and service providers. - Providing coaching to junior members. - Independently working on medium to complex projects. - Demonstrating problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude. - Developing and implementing web-based solutions. - Having knowledge of architecture design concepts, object-oriented design, logical and physical database architectures, and operating systems. - Being proficient in Agile and Iterative development methodologies. - Possessing strong communication skills to interact with partners globally. - Experience in financial services and business practices. - Capture of business reporting requirements and design/development of reports. Role Requirements: - 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on software design & development. - 5+ years of experience in Salesforce, Service Cloud, and force.com platform. - Hands-on experience with service cloud standard features such as Chat, CTI, Entitlements, Omni Channel, Email to case, Webforms, etc. - Expert-level understanding of LWC, data modeling, design frameworks. - Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Framework, Lightning components (Aura), Integrations (SF REST API and Composite), Triggers, SLDS, jQuery, Batch, Visual Force, and configurations like Flows, validation rules, Custom Metadata types, profiles, role, sharing rules, workflows/process builders, SFDX, etc. on Salesforce.com platform. - Good knowledge of Agile and Iterative development methodologies and proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, Version Control Systems (e.g., GitLab), and deployment tools. - Having Platform developer-2 and any Architect certification will be preferred. - Nice to have experience in Financial Service cloud.
