HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE -

This role provides administrative support to all P&C Centers of Excellence, including Benefits. Key duties include processing compliance filings, conducting audits, managing CALA benefits escalations & administration, updating Ciena s intranet pages, and overseeing the Freshdesk ticketing system. The position also handles employee queries related to People Connect policies and processes, supports employee engagement and relations, and collaborates with internal teams and external partners.

REQUIRED SKILLS -

  • Process bi-weekly payroll files with accuracy and timeliness
  • Handle FSA/HSA fundings and ensure proper allocation
  • Oversee CALA benefits administration and resolve related queries
  • Manage the Freshdesk ticketing system for efficient case resolution
  • Prepare employment contracts and manage a seamless candidate experience from offer through to on-boarding
  • Responsible for ensuring Background Checks are completed on Time including follow-up with the agency on a regular basis and closure of insufficiencies
  • Interface with key internal and external partners i.e. Payroll, Legal, Facilities and IT etc. to ensure coordinated on-boarding, separation and other key actions
  • Ensure documentation is filed appropriately and is SOX/ISO compliant
  • Responsible for Workday support to employees/managers and any Workday actions
  • Deliver initiatives to improve the employee experience with HR by identifying and proposing solutions that improve our service delivery model
