Senior Associate - Merger & Acquisition Tax

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing research and analysis of transaction tax related laws on inbound and outbound deals, corporate reorganizations, securities market aspects, etc. You will also be required to conduct tax diligence and prepare deliverables capturing implications based on research. Additionally, you will assist in preparing training presentations, supporting knowledge sharing efforts, and ensuring compliance with risk management strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research and analysis of transaction tax related laws - Apply tax theory and positions to specific client needs - Prepare deliverables in various formats (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email) - Perform direct tax diligence and capture findings in a report - Utilize tax practice processes and tools efficiently - Stay updated on latest developments and share industry trend articles - Maintain internal documents and working papers - Assist in preparing training presentations on regulatory developments - Support knowledge sharing efforts and improve processes - Network internally to gain understanding of client-related issues - Ensure compliance with risk management strategies - Follow up on billing and collection tasks Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Law, Finance, or related field - Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax laws - Experience in conducting tax research and analysis - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work effectively in a team and network within the organization.,
