Senior Associate, Chief Accounting & Capital Office

• Preparation of Re Quarterly Income Statement and Balance Sheet, monthly/quarterly reconciliations which include but is not limited to Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Booking of manual adjustment to incorporate legal entity, operating units, and other chart field level restructuring / changes in General Ledger.
• Responsible for providing support on IFRS 17 Financial Close & reporting and analysis activities for the Life Re segment.
• Analyzing trends and supporting management in quarterly close and reporting process.
• Maintain effective communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and leadership expectations.
• Collaboration within/outside the team (including the BU Controllers/Business Partners) for the timely cleanup of the open reconciling items.
• Other responsibilities may be added.

You will report to Senior Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• A Graduate or Post-Graduate (B.Com/M.Com/ MBA in Finance) with relevant years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Robust communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal/external teams across the globe.
• Effective computer application skills (Microsoft office, Oracle EBS, SQL, Power BI, QlikView). Must have an aptitude and interest in the financial system environment.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with Oracle EBS, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Magnitude would be advantageous.
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills.
• Organized, methodical, able to deal effectively with multiple priorities and do multitasking.
