Senior Architect – Zonal Head

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Lead the design direction and architectural vision for all projects within the assigned zone.
• Serve as the primary architectural authority and liaison for the zone, reporting to the Director.

Design Management:

• Oversee design development from concept to construction drawings, ensuring alignment with project goals, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Guide and review work from internal and external consultants to maintain design integrity and functionality.

Project Oversight:

• Coordinate across disciplines – architecture, structure, MEP, landscape, and interiors – to ensure seamless integration.
• Ensure timely delivery of design packages, statutory submissions, and execution drawings.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects, assistant architects, and coordinators within the zone.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and quality expectations.

Authority & Regulatory Coordination:

• Liaise with local development authorities (GHMC, HMDA, AAI, Fire Dept., etc.) for obtaining necessary approvals and clearances.
• Ensure all designs comply with national and local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction:

• Represent the architectural function in client meetings, internal strategy discussions, and vendor interactions.
• Provide design-related inputs during land evaluation, feasibility, and master planning phases.

Quality & Innovation:

• Maintain high standards of design quality, technical detailing, and material innovation.
• Stay updated on latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies relevant to large-scale developments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum

  8–10 years of hands-on experience

• Proven portfolio of high-rise, large-scale residential or commercial projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and MS Office tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, NBC, local bye-laws, and statutory processes in Telangana.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

Preferred Background:

• Experience with reputed real estate developers, large architecture firms, or PMCs.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle: from design, approvals, to execution.
• Exposure to sustainable/green building practices is an advantage (IGBC/GRIHA knowledge preferred).
