Architectural Draughtsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman with an architectural background to prepare accurate technical drawings and detailed construction documents. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects and project teams to translate design concepts into precise drawings that comply with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed layouts.
  
• Develop working drawings and construction documentation as per project specifications.
  
• Modify and update drawings based on design changes and site requirements.
  
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design accuracy.
  
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and regulations.
  
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records for projects.
  
• Assist in preparing presentations and design submissions when required.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsman or similar role.
  
• Strong knowledge of architectural standards, materials, and construction methods.
  

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
  
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other BIM tools is an advantage.
  
• Basic understanding of MS Office and documentation tools.
