Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Project Leadership: Lead and manage architectural projects from conception through completion, often handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Client Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, defining project goals, and presenting design proposals.
Design Development: Create and refine architectural designs, plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Project Management: Oversee project timelines, manage budgets, and allocate resources effectively.
Mentorship: Guide and supervise junior architects and design staff, providing training and support on complex issues.
Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure quality, and address on-site issues.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture is typically required.
Experience: Several years of related experience as an architect are generally necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, SketchUp, Escape, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop and other design tools.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Knowledge: Expertise in construction documentation, sustainable design practices, and building regulations
