Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for architectural and interior projects from conceptualization to execution.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Coordinate design intent with engineering consultants and contractors, ensuring seamless integration of all project elements.
• Supervise and guide junior designers and drafters across all project phases: Concept Design, Schematic Design, and Detailed Design.
• Manage permit and regulatory processes, including interactions with building code officials and inspectors.
• Oversee construction administration activities such as responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, and site inspections.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand project goals and translate them into functional, aesthetically pleasing solutions.
• Conduct research and sourcing for materials, finishes, and furnishings aligned with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, sustainability standards, and best practices in construction methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture
• Minimum

  4 years

  of professional experience in a design-focused architectural firm.
• Proven experience with

  commercial, educational, and public projects

  .
• Strong command of

  design, technical detailing, and project documentation

  .
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project coordination skills.
• Proficient in

  Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp

  .
• Working knowledge of

  Rhino, 3Ds Max or V-Ray, and Grasshopper

  is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with

  digital and analog fabrication

  methods.
• Solid understanding of

  building materials, structural systems, and construction techniques

  .
• Detail-oriented with strong visual awareness and an eye for quality design.
• Knowledge of

  sustainable design

  and

  green building standards

  is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
