Senior Architect - Oracle Retail

Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with IT product teams to define strategy and architecture addressing current and future business and technology needs - Enable adoption of modern technology foundation including Cloud, DevOps, Intelligent Automation, Robotics, AI/ML, and other innovative technologies - Support Buying, Planning, Allocations, and Merch Operations for teams in India and Australia - Modernize application ecosystem and deliver critical new capabilities for Global Merch Initiatives - Develop trusted stakeholder relationships and deliver value in a dynamic global team environment Qualifications Required: - Subject matter expertise in Merchandising areas such as Stock Ledger, Markdowns & Price Management, PO & Inventory Management, Allocations, Sales Audit, Invoice Matching, and Planning - Strong design & engineering experience with the ability to design solutions that are simple, cost-effective, and easy to support - Experience in Architecture disciplines including design patterns, integration patterns, security patterns, and architecture blueprints/roadmaps - Familiarity with application architecture fundamentals such as Service Architecture, Agile, DevSecOps, Cloud, and Non-Functional Requirements - Experience working in an Agile delivery environment - Experience in Merchandising & Planning ERP platforms like Oracle Retail/RPAS, Infor, Aptos Merchandising Suite, SAP IS Retail, and JDA/BY Desired Qualifications: - Expertise in Oracle Retail MOM/RPAS applications and other custom Merch Operations platforms - Exposure to public cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP - Experience in defining Architecture Runway, analyzing requirements, documenting & reviewing Solution design options - Ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders to influence and gain consensus on Solutions/application architecture - Excellent communications and collaboration skills - Strong strategic and critical thinking skills - Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and adversity - Ability to learn and adapt quickly - 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Retail Merchandising ERP Systems - Experience working in the Retail Industry implementing/enhancing Merchandising Systems - Familiarity with modern application architecture such as microservices, web/mobile app architecture, and cloud-native app architecture in the context of large-scale Enterprise applications - Exposure to a variety of software stacks including Oracle, PL-SQL, and other relational databases,
