Job Title: Architect Design Location: Jalandhar Company: XLNC Exotic Inc Job Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 8 years in residential architectural design Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and detail-driven Architect with a strong focus on residential design to join our team at Fortune ADU. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing functional, aesthetically pleasing, and regulation-compliant residential spaces in and around San Diego. You should have experience working with ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units), single-family homes, and multi-unit residential properties. Key Responsibilities: Lead architectural design for residential buildings including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models. Understand client needs and translate them into efficient, attractive, and buildable designs. Prepare schematic and construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and similar tools. Ensure all designs comply with San Diego city planning codes, zoning requirements, and permit processes. Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and permitting authorities throughout project lifecycle. Provide design input for exterior and interior aesthetics, materials, and finishes. Conduct site visits to understand space and provide design consultations. Support the permit application process with accurate and complete documentation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from an accredited institution. Minimum 8 years of experience designing residential projects Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or Enscape. Strong design portfolio demonstrating residential work. Familiarity with California Building Code (CBC) and San Diego permitting requirements. Excellent visualization, communication, and client interaction skills. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working on ADUs, garage conversions, and custom home designs. Knowledge of sustainable building practices or LEED certification. Understanding of Vastu or other cultural design considerations (optional). Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
