Senior Applications Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Manage the Applications Engineering team within FTC Solar - Define a continuous improvement roadmap for released tracker products - Collaborate closely with Field Operations to understand and address field installation issues - Support and define improvements in testing for tracker components - Analyze and improve field performance - Work closely with Quality and R&D to resolve field failures and provide technical oversight of proposed remediations Qualifications: - BS, MS, or PhD in a technical discipline related to trackers (Mech Eng., Structural Eng. or equivalent) - Minimum of 8 years of work experience in the solar industry - Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated ability in managing people in teams/projects - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Effective communication skills both oral and written - Excellent organizational skills At FTC Solar, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and celebrate diversity.
