Senior Android Developer

As an Android App Developer with 4 to 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as working with outside data sources and APIs. Additionally, you will be required to unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability, and to work on bug fixing and improving application performance. You should have extensive hands-on experience in working with Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK, as well as a good command of operating system concepts and data structures. Your expertise should also include knowledge of web services, SQL Lite, camera kit, image caching concepts, keychain, and experience with at least one of the design patterns like MVC, MVVM, or MVP. Your skills should encompass creating custom UI controls, designing protocols, implementing interfaces, and performance optimization. You should have a working knowledge of Web Services and REST APIs, and familiarity with Team Foundation Service or Git source code management. Any knowledge of IoT-based project concepts would be considered a plus. In this role, you will be expected to continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
