About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using React Native and Native platforms.

• Lead feature development and ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
• Architect solutions using modern design patterns such as MVP and MVVM.
• Debug and optimize applications using Android Studio, DDMS and other profiling tools.
• Integrate third-party SDKs including Firebase, GA4, Sentry, Posthog and New Relic.
• Manage network communication using Retrofit and implement dependency injection frameworks like Dagger and Hilt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) in Agile/Scrum delivery cycles.
• Drive code quality and maintainability through unit testing, peer reviews and best practices.
• Stay updated with latest Android SDKs, tools and Google Play guidelines.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, contributing to team capability building.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Android Development Expertise:

• Deep understanding of the Native development lifecycle, Material Design and Native Components.

• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM).

• Experience in SDK integration, performance monitoring and analytics tools.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Web Services, REST APIs and JSON parsing.

• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies and CI/CD practices.

• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail and collaboration skills.

React Native:

• Experience with TypeScript, React JS and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on knowledge of React Navigation, Redux and cross-platform app development.
• Familiarity with native build tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, IntelliJ and Gradle.
• Understanding of REST APIs, offline storage and third-party library integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in App development, hands-on experience in Native (Android/IOS) and React Native
• Strong experience in publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and collaborate across teams.
