Senior Android Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer to join our growing mobile team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly, and efficient mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers, to deliver exceptional mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin.

• Integrate payment gateways such as Paytm, RazorPay, etc.

• Work with audio/video streaming, media playback, and real-time communication.

• Build and maintain clean, modular architecture using MVVM.

• Implement Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications.

• Manage device location using LocationManager and related services.

• Utilize Retrofit for API consumption and network operations.

• Develop and test reusable components and custom views.

• Implement unit testing to ensure high code quality and reliability.

• Solve complex logical problems, such as custom game logic, pattern generation (e.g. star patterns), and in-app algorithms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Maintain and enhance codebase performance, security, and scalability.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of proven experience in Android app development.

• Proficient in Kotlin and Android SDK.

• Strong understanding of MVVM architecture.

• Experience with payment gateway integration (RazorPay, Paytm, etc.).

• Expertise in Retrofit, FCM, and LocationManager.

• Deep understanding of audio/video components and media services.

• Proven ability to write clean, logical code for custom UI and game logic.

• Solid understanding of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).

• Experience building custom views and animations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
