Android Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Android Developer to join our growing mobile team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly, and efficient mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers, to deliver exceptional mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to understand user requirements, define features, and translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs, including RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, to integrate backend services.
• Implement clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Write comprehensive unit and UI tests to ensure robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and development trends to maximize development efficiency and enhance user experience.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Contribute to technical documentation and project progress reporting.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Required Skills:

• 2 years of proven experience in Android app development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with varying screen sizes and device capabilities.
• Solid understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and Material Design guidelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
• Proficiency with Android Studio and its development tools.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,021.94 - ₹80,755.43 per month
