Job Overview And Responsibilities
This Analyst / Senior Analyst position is responsible for working with suppliers to identify and implement future alternate Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) and Owner Operator Produced Parts (OOPP). This role supports Technical Operations cost saving and reliability initiatives while increasing potential suppliers to reduce supply chain shortages.
- Use Supply Chain forecasting tools to identify future alternate material usage and financial spends that support future PO Forecast, Repair Orders and Airframe OSVs goals. Develop these identified alternate materials with both internal and external suppliers to determine worthwhile opportunities.
- Work with current PMA/OOPP suppliers to verify that FAA-approved alternate materials are incorporated into the company's technical and planning systems.
- Track and develop reporting around past PMA/OOPP opportunities that have been implemented to identify total approvals and savings attributed to these opportunities
- Partner with Engineering and supply chain teams to identify aircraft reliability issues and coordinate with PMA/OOPP suppliers to develop alternate solutions that resolve those issues.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field or relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience in fields of supply chain, airline or manufacturing industry.
- 2+ years analytical work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and ability to read engineering documents
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
