Job Description

Analyze large volumes of data to identify trend and anomalies
Identify, evaluate, and integrate new data sources and capabilities into decision-making
Create tableau dashboards prepare performance insights, trends using the testing and monitoring data
Ensure compliance to Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and American Express Compliance standards with respect to documentation, testing, and certification of GCS business monitoring and testing
Collaborate and consult with Colleagues, Internal Partners and key control teams both within the lines of business and across the organization, to promote a well-controlled environment.
Maintain an effective control environment and respond to operational breakdowns with discipline

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Finance and Economics).
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams directly or indirectly to achieve key business outcomes.
Strong programming skills are required. Experience with BIG DATA PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES (HIVE, PIG, SPARK), PYTHON (or R or JAVA). Expertise or ability to pick up strong SQL skills, working experience with Lumi
Experience working in Tableau Desktop (Advanced Reporting/Power BI) and Database Management (through SQL).
Experience in application of Statistical Techniques, advanced Microsoft Excel skills maintaining VBA/macro-based solutions are essential.
Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to apply both quantitative methods and business skills to create insights and drive results, such as A/B testing analysis.
Strong analytical/conceptual thinking acumen to solve unstructured and complex business problems and articulate key findings to senior leaders/stakeholders in a succinct and concise manner.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a matrix organization partnering with capabilities, marketing, decision sciences, risk teams and external teams to deliver solutions at top speed.
