As a Senior AI Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and operationalize AI-driven products, with a focus on LLM integration and context engineering. Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, building, and operationalizing AI and ML products, with a focus on LLM-powered solutions and context engineering
- Developing automated pipelines for model selection using business-driven performance metrics
- Implementing comprehensive monitoring for AI systems and taking corrective actions to maintain performance
- Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate ML models and APIs into production-grade systems
- Ensuring AI products are scalable, reliable, and maintainable while delivering measurable business value
- Contributing to technical strategy, code quality, and best practices across the AI/ML team
Requirements
Successful candidates will have:
- Expert-level Python development skills and experience in building production AI systems
- Advanced SQL proficiency (experience with SQLAlchemy preferred)
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), particularly AI/ML services
- Deep understanding of LLMs, including strengths, limitations, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Professional experience building LLM-powered applications or AI-driven products
- Experience with API development using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
- B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical field
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with LLM frameworks, vector databases, and model context protocols (MCP)
- Proficiency with Python ML libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn
- Familiarity with operationalizing AI models in production environments
