Job Description

Position: Accounts Manager
Location: Dhekiajuli Assam
Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month
Language Preference: Assamese (preferred), Hindi/English

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all accounting operations related to GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
Deduct and deposit TDS, prepare TDS returns and certificates.
Manage all vendor accounts — including payments, reconciliations, and follow-ups.
Maintain vendor records and ensure timely settlement of bills.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government departments.
Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and government regulations.
Oversee the day-to-day financial transactions of the company.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, GST, and TDS management.
Experience in vendor account management preferred.
Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software.
Strong understanding of Assam-specific taxation and business rules.
Good communication skills in Assamese and Hindi/English.
