Senior Accountant

As a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional, you will lead the finance and accounting function of the company. Your main responsibilities will include: - Setting up and managing core accounting systems, processes, and internal controls. - Owning monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and forecasting. - Monitoring cash flow, burn rate, and runway; providing actionable insights to leadership. - Leading budgeting and financial planning processes across departments. - Ensuring adherence to tax, legal, and regulatory requirements. - Managing relationships with external accountants, auditors, and investors. - Preparing financial models and investor reports to support fundraising efforts. - Implementing financial tools and systems to enable growth and scalability. - Working closely with leadership and teams to align financial strategy with business goals. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred. - 4-8 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or related roles. - Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance. - Proven expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency in modern financial tools and ERP systems.
