Senior Accountant

As an experienced accountant, you will be responsible for various financial tasks to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS. You will conduct thorough variance analysis and provide valuable insights to the management for decision-making purposes. In addition, you will oversee the general ledger's accuracy, ensuring all journal entries and adjustments are correctly recorded. Collaborating on budgeting and forecasting activities, you will assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts while monitoring budget performance and recommending necessary corrective actions. Maintaining compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local, state, and federal tax regulations will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also play a key part in coordinating external audits and tax preparation processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhancing overall efficiency. You may also need to implement new accounting systems or upgrades to improve operations where necessary. Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to junior accountants and finance staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Conducting training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team will also be a part of your responsibilities. This is a full-time position with benefits such as Provident Fund.
