Senior Accountant

Job Key Responsibilities: Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll salary processing. Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements). Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Support internal and external audits. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff. Prepare and file statutory returns (e.g., GST, TDS, PF, ESIC) accurately and on time. Qualification and Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce or MBA(Finance) Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar accounting role. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle Financials, ERP). Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
