Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant ( Male candidates preferred ) for our school's corporate office.

The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves managing budgets, reconciling accounts, supervising junior accounting staff, and providing financial insights to support the institution’s decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely statutory compliance with GST, TDS, PF, PT, and other applicable laws.
• Oversee fee collections, payroll processing, vendor payments, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
• Maintain and update accounting systems and financial databases.
• Supervise and guide junior accountants or accounts assistants.
• Manage the full spectrum of accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., M.Com, MBA Finance).
• CA Inter or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 8-15 years of accounting experience, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / QuickBooks / SAP and MS Excel.
• Sound understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
