Role & responsibilities

SUMMARY

Undertakes the complete taxation & accounting responsibilities up to finalisation of the Accounts and ensures every aspect of the department is running smoothly. Must be in expert in each of the matters of the department and must stay on top of everything even though not looking into those matters directly. Ensure all roles and responsibilities are carried out before the due dates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for GSTR 1, 2, 3 and 3B, RCM preparation.
• Responsible for periodical returns for GST, PT, TDS & custom with closing entries before the due dates.
• Monthly TDS working, payments and periodical returns with closing entries.
• Get company and factory returns done from the concern authorities before the due dates.
• Preparation of Audit schedules
• Advance Tax Computation
• Preparation of monthly MIS Report like comparatively balance sheet, profit and loss account, budgeting and ratio analysis.
• Takes complete responsibility of all statutory matters and all audit and finalisation matters and gets all necessary work done in a timely manner.
• Ensures that stock taking is done periodically and takes necessary steps to ensure stock valuation is done on time and is accurate.
• Manage end-to-end process for accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly and quarterly books closure (including cash and bank reconciliations, GL review, provisions, Vendor Reconciliation & Customer reconciliations, etc.).
• Ensuring Customer Billing with appropriate GST rates.
• Petty cash handling.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education qualification: M. Com / B. Com. / MBA
• Years & nature of Experience: 2-3 years in CA firm & 3-4 years work experience in manufacturing Industry preferred
• Working knowledge of accounting
• Proficient in using MS Excel and other MS Office applications
• Working knowledge of Tally 9 ERP latest version
• Desired attributes: Hardworking. Focused on results and passionate about quality of deliverables.
• Male candidate Preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluent and clear in Marathi, Hindi, English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must be quick and accurate at mental calculations.

REASONING ABILITY

As the job requires handling team members, it is essential that a candidate must be able to evaluate the work of others and to give proper directions as and when required. Must have ability to take charge of situations and lead others.
