Senior Accountant - Commercial Finance

Your responsibilities will also include providing proposal and pre-contract review support, identifying and optimizing margin enhancement opportunities during execution, and sharing best practices under the Commercial Management Committee's stewardship. **Key Responsibilities:** - Demonstrate commercial acumen by understanding the business decisions made by clients and project teams. - Utilize knowledge of Engineering Services/EP/EPC/EPCM contracts. - Build and maintain relationships, cooperate effectively, and foster collaborative working. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for spreadsheets and modeling. - Analyze project risks, contracts, and business models to identify key commercial issues and terms. - Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, conveying information clearly to individuals and groups. - Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities efficiently. - Collaborate with multi-disciplinary location teams, sharing knowledge and resources across regions. - Support pre-contract activities, performance analysis, cost benchmarking, and commercial acumen. - Standardize pricing methodology and review pricing estimates transparently. - Assist in proposal development and commercial strategy determination. - Adhere to Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines. - Support project controls, accounting, and post-award reviews for achieving sold margins. **Qualification Required:** - 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a commercial focus. - Strong analytical and numeracy skills with logical problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in Excel. - Post-award experience is advantageous. **About Worley:** Worley aims to empower its people to drive sustainable impact through a values-inspired culture that promotes belonging, connection, and innovation.
