Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations to ensure the accuracy of financial records. You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances, and oversee the finalization of accounts while coordinating with auditors. Monitoring budgets, expenses, and cash flow to support financial planning will be a crucial part of your role. You will also review and approve journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents, implement internal controls, and guide junior accountants in their tasks. Additionally, you will liaise with management to provide financial insights and recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances. - Oversee finalization of accounts and coordinate with auditors. - Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow to support financial planning. - Review and approve journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents. - Implement and strengthen internal controls for smooth accounting processes. - Guide and mentor junior accountants in their daily tasks. - Liaise with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
